For Christmas this year we gifted Kevin and Erika with a few days "off", and so we whisked the kids away to LaPine with us for a long labor day weekend. So much fun for all! Here's what we did: hiking, discovering the railroad tracks nearby, crafts, playing in the dirt, star gazing, horseshoes, campfire with s'mores, games, stories, Lava Lands trails, kids got to use my camera, splashing in the creek, "un-natural" trail challenge, pushing down small dead trees, help grandpa saw down dead branches, and so many more little things that happen throughout the days. Here are a few pictures, in no particular order because I didn't want to arrange them.
(Some of the photos were taken by the kids!)
This rustic bench was the place to keep all the "collectibles" which would be taken home.
