Birthday Fun!

Aiden, Will and Lucy will be having birthdays while we are gone, so today we attended a big party in their honor, mingling our family and relatives of Will and Lucy. We had the first "summer" weather of the year, topping out at a little over 80 degrees today...wonderful for an outdoor party!

The pictures below are in no particular order because I'm too tired to organize them cleverly. The kids were "superheroes" with capes and hats. Erika passed out squirt guns and they ran around the yard looking for hidden monsters to blast. They played with the parachute, ran through a misty-sprinkler, and got to swing at a pinata. After everyone gave it their best shot, Ben showed them all how it's done with one mighty swing, scattering goodies upon the grass.

We had lots of food, cute decorated cakes for the birthday kiddos, and presents afterward. It was a busy, hot summer day full of fun. Phew!
