The neighbors came to call

That's a He on the left, and a She on the right and they strolled past our yard yesterday morning. Niether one seemed to mind when I asked them to hold still for a moment while I ran for the camera to take their picture. In the photo they are in the neighbor's back yard, but when something spooked them a few minutes later, they jumped down into ours and ran through to the forest below. I'm pretty sure it's the same couple who have pruned my hydrangea. Since deer are creatures of habit, this is probably one of their normal routes, and they have and will continue to visit frequently as they go about their business. It's going to be "fun" trying to garden with their help. :)
