Saturday

Not a bad day at all. :) Had a nice walk this morning, did household chores together, then went out to Al's Garden Center in Woodburn where I got a new perennial plant: Coreopsis Moonbeam, and a big bag of fertilizer for all the rest of the plants in the yard. Here is what Moonbeam will look like (right now it is a bunch of little pokey things in a gallon pot of soil):

Next we went out to spend the afternoon with Erika and the kids (Kevin had to work today). I took bunches of pictures, which I'll post a few at a time later this week, but here's one that's a classic: Erika with her three kids...this is real life, folks! (They are darling, though, and we loved spending time with them today).

On our way home we stopped at some Mexican Restaurant (I can't remember the name) and ate too much. But it sure was good. Came home, watched the latest episode of "Lost" on the internet (and we're still "lost"...where are they going with this?), then a little reading, and now we shall retire. Ah...it's been a good day.
