Keeping Busy

Look at those cute little faces. You couldn't tell by first glance that they've been ill with a virus (the throwing-up kind...ech), and their big brother, too. The girls are exploring the cupboards in the doctor's office while waiting to be seen.

I spent all day Friday with Erika and the kids, which included this trip to the Doctor's office where they were diagnosed with the above mentioned virus, as well as ear infections for Anika and Aiden (who is probably heading for tubes and tonsilectomy soon).

Saturday our house was the stage for a bridal shower for a young woman in the Single Adult Ward (who won't be single for much longer!). Afterwards we went to a Newell Creek Ward talent night activity, then back home again to meet with Kyle and Michelle (two YSA's) to prepare chicken enchiladas for a Sunday "Break the Fast" meal. That's one of the nice things about this young Ward.... immediately following Fast Sunday meetings we all gather for a huge pot luck meal. MMmmmmmmm.

This morning (Sunday) I read to the girls in Virginia, then attended the normal meetings and feast. And tonight I started a new book: The Story of Edgar Sawtelle by David Wroblewski. Intriguing, so far!
