Catching up on the blog... be sure to scroll down for the last couple posts so you don't miss a thing from our Amazingly Exciting Tour Through Idaho! Actually, we are finding some very beautiful areas. I think I could almost be lured to live in some of the pretty little towns sprinkled throughout this southeastern Idaho area. As much as possible, Ken has determined not to drive the freeways, so we are seeing the country as the locals see it. :)
Montpelier has a very nice museum of Oregon Trail history. We enjoyed it very much. Notice in the picture, Ken is helping to hold the wagon from going downhill too fast!
Soda Springs has it's own captive geyser! They release the pressure every hour, so after a nice picnic lunch in the park we watched the geyser go off!
