We exited the state after Lewiston and drove south in Eastern Washington, stopping for a picnic in a little oasis of trees. Yes, we are still in Church clothes.:)
We slept in a small campground in North Eastern Oregon. There were several RV'ers camped and we realized it is now hunting season and RV's seem to be the popular way to spend the week in the "woods". Setting up camp while still dressed up caught the attention of a man near us (who was heading for a week of the Pendleton Roundup) and he invited us over for a campfire when it was dark. He was impressed at how quickly and efficiently we got things set up. I hadn't even thought of it till then, but after only a week together it didn't take much discussion to gets things taken care of. Once organized we finally changed into "grubbies", had dinner, and eventually strolled over to visit with our neighbor and his campfire. He was a retired trucker and Ken enjoyed talking with him about road trips. :)
The last picture of the day is "Breakfast Cooking", which happens to be bacon, followed by potatoes and onions and eggs scrambled in. This is our morning clutter look, since we are preparing to leave camp as soon as we eat. About those mugs: Andrew, I don't even remember where we got them, but they have been around since the early days of 1113. Becky, you have a great memory for things...do you know how they came to be?

Wow! I wondered if we would ever see that house again. It's amazing it still has the view & gully. I remember it being more "gardened" though.
