Fun in the Sun

The kids aren't here yet, so we spent a day playing in the warm central oregon sunshine! First, we went hiking on the Paulina Creek Trail. We've been here before, but it's been a while...and besides, it's a very pretty hike! Here's one of the many falls along the way:


We went as far as these twin falls. Look close...I'm in this photo!


After lunch we went swimming at South Twin lake. (That's not us :)


Lastly, we decided to drive up to Paulina Peak to watch the sunset. Here's Ken sitting up on the very top point at 7,984 feet!

The sun is just down and there's the view of Paulina Lake and East Lake. It was freezing up there and the wind was blowing, so it was time to call it a day. And it was a GOOD day. :)
