Spontaneity

Ken came home from work early on Wednesday, which was a HOT day here. (Mind you, I am NOT complaining!) He rushed into the house and breathlessly asked, "Can we be ready in ten minutes?" I had no clue what he was talking about, of course, but he quickly added..."Let's go to the beach!"

So, 15 minutes later (sorry, it takes longer than 10 to gather stuff together) we had tossed some fruit in a cooler, rounded up sun block, sunglasses, binoculars, and off we went to the coast!

On this trip we went to Neskowin Beach, just north of Lincoln City. Here's the trail to the beach, past this great little creek.

One seagull didn't get the message to look the other way.

Mr. Spontaneous, enjoying his afternoon off.

Interesting rocks on the shoreline.

Once upon a time there was a forest here...

Does this remind you of a certain old movie? My guy was certainly enjoying the day!

The "interesting rock" from the photo above is part of this formation.

We got to wade across the creek a couple times.

It was a very pleasant afternoon. Thanks, Hon!
