Oh, beautiful Fall afternoon! We certainly couldn't pass up such a lovely day without at least one good stroll somewhere new. Saturday we drove into Portland's Sellwood neighborhood and walked around the Oaks Bottoms area. It's such a tame trail that I can't really call it a HIKE, but we did walk three miles through this charming wildlife floodplain. Without any further chattering on my part, here are some of my favorite images from a peaceful afternoon.

I still haven't walked/hiked Oaks Bottom. I've been wanting to go there for a long time. Your photos are tantalizing me!
