Winter Morning

Our morning walk was so beautiful today. It's cold enough that there's a white frost on everything and the sunrise colored the sky with soft shades of pink and purple before changing to a delicate porcelan blue. As soon as I got home I noticed the sunshine on the trees in my backyard and, as always, I looked at the woods in wonder and thought how grateful I was for the view, for the new day, and for all the good things in my life.
