My Newest Perennials

The sunshine has been so inspiring, and this week I planted out some new perennials for my gardens. (A perennial flower survives ((hopefully)) the winter to bloom again every year!) Here are photos of the mature plants (mine are still "babies"). They are all supposedly "deer resistant", so we'll experiment and see what happens!

Verbena Homestead Purple, a low growing, spreading mat of color.

Salvia Chiapensis, which hails from Mexico originally

Pieris, Forest Flame Andromeda, which is a shrub given to me by Pam as a housewarming gift!

Salvia Gregii Lipstick (gotta love these names!)

Lavender, Blue Cushion

This picture isn't my garden, of course, but I couldn't resist tossing in a photo of the Temple fountain and spring gardens that I took at the Temple last night. :)
