Yep, it's Autumn! This is the view from my bedroom window. There are still some colorful leaves hanging on in the trees, but it's only a matter of days before they will become part of the forest floor. Sigh. The end of summer. (Wait, did we really have summer?) Well, yes, but even though the warm days were limited, the memories are good.
I am cheered by the cactus plant, however, which is also in my bedroom. The shortened daylight hours are causing buds to form, and in a few more weeks this cactus will be showing off with beautiful blooms. Can't complain about that. :)
