Last Minute Gift

One would think that by my age I would have learned to avoid procrastinating, but it's still an aspect of my life that needs more work! I've known for two weeks that there's a bridal shower to go to TODAY, but did I prepare in time? (Does thinking about it count?)

Well, looking at the Bride-to-be's registry online yesterday afternoon I noticed that she wanted a cute apron. Hmmmmm...I can do a cute apron. So at 7 PM I made a quick trip to JoAnn's for some cheery fabric and colorful ric-rac, and this little number was sewed up before I went to bed. (I went to bed a little later than usual...)

I like it so much that I'm planning to make another one just for me...when I get around to it. :)
