I did a walk around the yard these last sunny days and noticed that the forest floor is looking almost as ready for spring as I am. The little green spears poking up will surely be the daffodils of March and April! Last year I took a photo of the perky little flowers blooming happily in the shelter of three very large maple trees. Those maples won't get leaves until May, long after many of the spring flowers show their colors. Today's pastel, on the rough side of the Canson paper, is called Coming Soon...because it won't be much longer now.

Coming Soon
