Today's pastel does double duty. Over on the Daily Paintworks site, the weekly challenge is "Paint it before you eat it", referring to Valentines treats. We have some foil-wrapped chocolate hearts in the cupboard, so I created a still-life to represent them. My painting is called, "My Cup Runneth Over". I also chose this title for Valentines Day because a long, long time ago I used to play my guitar and sing a little song with that title to my young husband. The words to the song are over on my Maple Dreams blog, in case you want to know what they are. It's a sweet melody, and I've been humming it for the last couple days. This one is for you, Dear! Happy Valentines Day!

Valentine's Day
