Woodwork Progress

When my husband takes a couple days off work, he likes to play with projects. His basement storage area improvement is nearly complete. He would still like to build a set of steps from the new deck floor to the upper platforms, and we will eventually bring in some large metal shelves from the garage, but here's how things are looking now.

Okay, step back:  this is the deck in progress:

Now here is the completed deck floor, with some existing storage items.

Upper decks completed, with bins and boxes. No more stacking things on the black plastic "floor". Hooray!

Now it's time for a change of scenery. We are headed over to Wisconsin to spend a week with Sarah's family tomorrow morning. Luckily for us, the Wisconsin winter has been a mild one this year. Since our own Oregon weather is forcasting cold and wet, we won't miss a thing. :)
