I really thought I'd sleep in today after a long day of airports and airplanes, but here I am, up at first light! Watching the sun rise above the trees here in my own backyard is a deeply comfortable event which I am pleased to witness. This is my view, taken as I stepped out on the back porch and looked east.
Air transportation is a marvel which I appreciate more than I can express, so I shall minimize any comments which could be made about delayed flights, 5 hour waits in an airport, running to barely catch an already boarding connecting flight, and the long, bumpy flight home. There. I'm done.
