Happy Thanksgiving!

The storms of the week have past, and they were doozies. Rain, wind, and more rain than ever. I thought for sure every leaf would be blown or beaten off the trees, but it was not so. Some of them are survivors, hanging on through all adversity. Can't help but admire them.

On this lovely Thanksgiving morning, this was the view from my bedroom window. We were both enjoying a sleep-in day, but when we saw this glorious woodland sunrise from our pillows, Ken ran for the camera so I could get this shot. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! May your day be beautiful!
