Last night we went to see "It's a Wonderful Life" performed on stage by the drama department of the local High School. Our friends Kathy and Mark had parts, as well as some youth we know, so we went in support of them, plus it was a nice evening's activity. For those who have seen the old movie, you know it's a sweet, somewhat sappy show with a nice message of how everyone's life is important, no matter how mundane it may seem. The live performance had the same tone, but it was fun to see the old familiar parts acted by different faces. Kathy and Mark were tickled to greet us afterwards (their parts are small, but they did them with great sincerity!), and we were glad we attended.
