What Electricity?

We had just returned from a snowy walk to the store, about 7 pm last night, and were settling in to enjoy a pleasant evening, when everything went dark. Well, out came the lantern and candles and we read for a bit, then headed to bed, thinking the power would come back on sometime during the night. This morning, still no power, so I turned on our gas fireplace which radiated a little heat in the living area. 14 hours after it went out, the power came back on. Amazingly, our house held it's heat quite well, and the lowest temperature inside was 59 degrees, while it is in the 20's outside. Can't complain about that!
