As I sat here looking at the news on the internet, I suddenly realized that About Face, the rose, would probably have it's first blossom open this morning. Oh! I had to go see it before heading out for my walk, so I grabbed the camera and ran outside. Sure enough, there it is, newly awakened on this cool, wet morning. What a fantastic color! After a shot or two, satisfied, I came back inside to upload it. I noticed wet, muddy footsteps following me across the hardwood floor in my living room, but I'll take care of those later.
Right now it's time to grab my umbrella and meet Paulene for our morning walk. Have a great day!
